Information for Press

Journalists and Photographers are very much welcomed and appreciated by the North Armagh Motorcycle and Car Club who promote the Tandragee 100 Road Races.

As I am sure you are aware the 2020 Around A Pound Tandragee 100 Road Races will be held on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd May 2020.       One Event Application Form - Here

Roads are due to close:-

•  Practice Day – Friday from 2:30pm to 9pm
•  Race Day – Saturday from 9:30am to 7pm

Please remember to bring your ID and clippings of your work with you when you sign on.

All press/photographers must call in to the race press office to sign-on prior to taking to the circuit to ensure they are covered by the MCUI (UC) Ltd insurance policy.

Press Sign On Times:-

•   Friday Practice Day:   12:30pm - 2:30pm
•   Saturday Race Day:    8:30am - 10:30am

Signing on will be inside the main paddock gate on the right with Derek Black at the Race Office where your pass and event information will be provided.

The Motorcycle Union of Ireland (MCUI) require all Press to wear a bib - the North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club Ltd ask for a £10 deposit which will be returned in full upon return of any bibs issued at signing on. The reason we ask for a deposit is because we will have to pay for any bibs that are missing after the event.

At all Motorcycle Union of Ireland (MCUI) events:-

Prior to the event Press/Photographers must present themselves to the press sign on area in the Paddock where you will be required to read and sign a declaration and you will then receive your press pass.
Press/Photographers are not allowed in Prohibited Areas at any time, nor are they permitted to stand Trackside during practising and racing and must adhere at all times to the marshals around the circuit. Each press pass issued will be numbered by the Club and if there is an incident, the number will be reported back to the Race Office and the pass will be revoked and you will be asked to leave the circuit.

I do hope you understand that this is to cover all involved due to the nature of our sport and your co-operation is greatly appreciated.

We as a Promoting Club really value your time and effort to help with promotion and reports/images of the Around A Pound Tandragee 100.

To help us prepare for the event each year please provide evidence of your work after the race, so you are guaranteed your pass for the event the following year.
