B Positive was founded by an extraordinary young boy, Adam Watson from Banbridge during his own cancer journey. After being diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia at just seven years old, Adam faced treatment with remarkable courage, strength, and an outlook that inspired everyone around him. Despite everything he was going through, he wanted to help other children who were facing similar battles, and so B Positive was born.
B Positive offers practical, emotional, and financial support tailored to each family’s situation. This includes providing suitcases packed with essential and comfort items for long hospital stays, vouchers to help ease everyday financial pressures, and funding for practical needs during treatment. They also support trauma counselling for healthcare staff, recognising the emotional toll of caring for seriously ill children, and provide restorative breaks for bereaved parents in partnership with the Hastings Group. Alongside this, B Positive continues to raise awareness and advocate for improved support and resources for children undergoing cancer treatment and their families. The Tandragee 100 would be impossible to run without our Sponsors – we offer our sincere thanks to them all. We also welcome on board a few new sponsors, which is just incredible.
Please support those who support our sport!
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the organising team and all of our loyal hardworking volunteers whose work behind the scenes is priceless (it takes over 500 people to make the event happen). Race week is the culmination of months of dedication and hard work.
For up to date information and news please visit our very active Facebook Group click here or visit X using @Tandragee100.
Disability Access – contact Sheila Sinton, MBE on 07780 916107 if you require a Disability Access pass and information for the event.
Finally, with an outlay of over £150k and costs rising each year we want to highlight how important a contribution the spectators make by purchasing a programme and parking package and/or by giving a donation – without their support the event will struggle to survive.
