After two long years of not being able to host the event due to a delay in getting resurfacing work carried out, we are thrilled to be celebrating 61 years of the Around A Pound Tandragee 100 Motorcycle Road Races. We would like to thank the then Infrastructure Minister John O’Dowd, for committing the necessary funds in 2024/25 and all those Councillors, MP’s and MLA’s who supported us in this venture. A special mention also to Ian Milne for assisting us over the 3 years it took to get this across the line.
“Standing about 1km away from the start/finish and I could see this horde thrashing uphill over two jumps towards me like they’d been stung by hornets. A mass start on narrow Irish country roads is something that you’ll never forget…gives you goosepimples! 8.5km (5.3m) and about 3 minutes later the air pushed aside as the bikes closely passed by, made my jacket flap back and forth…all came towards me at about 200km/h on the back wheel, I could have done with a nappy! It’s just amazing to watch, each and every one of them is racing with a knife between his teeth – you’ve got to be there to understand just how exciting it is.” (Stephen Bowers)
We are closing the roads earlier and adding extra untimed practice, two extra non-championship races and a new Classic Superbike Race to help all competitors both those who haven’t with us because of the two no race years as well as the large number of newcomers. We have also increased the overall prize pot to approximately £13,000!
This year we have introduced a new online ticketing system whereby race fans purchase their programme and parking package and a QR code is emailed to them. They present this QR code to be scanned upon arrival at the event and they will be given a programme which grants them access to parking and viewing areas.
To purchase a package or visit the News Section of our website www.tandragee100.co.uk for further information and our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
The Around A Pound Tandragee 100 continues to extend its reach, attracting competitors not just from NI (47) but from Southern Ireland (31), right across the UK (31) and Overseas (5). This year we have approximately 113 competitors and 50 newcomers, which demonstrates there is a future for road racing, if we look after it, and each other.

This year’s Around A Pound Tandragee 100 Charity of the Year is the Injured Riders Welfare Fund. Contact Sheila Sinton, Jan Simm, Sharon Neill or Susan Lester to make a donation to this worthy cause.
The Tandragee would be impossible to run without our Sponsors – we offer our sincere thanks to them all, especially this year, as every single one of them returned again after two years of no race but yet they have still chosen to support us. We also welcome on board a few new sponsors, which is just incredible.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the organising team and all of our loyal hardworking volunteers whose work behind the scenes is priceless (it takes over 500 people to make the event happen). Race week is the culmination of months of dedication and hard work.
We also wish to thank Illuminate Digital for producing a Promo Clip again this year that you can view on YouTube – Tandragee 100 Teaser 2025.
For up to date information and news please visit our website: www.tandragee100.co.uk on our very active Facebook Group or Twitter @Tandragee100.
Disability Access – contact Sheila Sinton, MBE if you require a Disability Access pass and information for the event.
Finally, with an outlay of over £150k and costs rising each year we want to highlight how important a contribution the spectators make by purchasing a programme and parking package and/or by giving a donation – without their support the event will struggle to survive.
