TANDRAGEE, COUNTY ARMAGH – The North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club is ecstatic to announce that the most successful Isle of Man TT rider in history, Michael Dunlop, MBE, is officially locked in to compete at this week’s Around A Pound Tandragee 100, taking place on Friday 26th June (Practice Day) and Saturday 27th June 2026 (Race Day).
Fresh from rewriting the history books on the world stage, the Ballymoney maestro is returning to Northern Ireland’s longest and most challenging national road racing circuit. In a blockbuster deal negotiated directly by title sponsor Around A Pound owner Gerard Rice—a long-time personal backer of Dunlop—the 13-time Tandragee winner will unleash his world-beating machinery on the iconic 5.3-mile “mini TT” course.
👑 The King Returns: Fresh from Historic TT Glory
Dunlop arrives in County Armagh at the absolute pinnacle of his skills. Having eclipsed his uncle Joey Dunlop’s long-standing record to become the undisputed King of the Mountain, and now with an incredible 36 legendary TT victories, Michael’s inclusion elevates the 2026 Around A Pound Tandragee 100 into a must-see global sporting event.
Fans at Tandragee will witness the maestro piloting his ultra-competitive MD Racing Superstock BMW alongside his ferocious Supersport Ducati and the Burrows Engineering/RK Racing Moto 3 bike. As the current outright lap record holder on the punishingly fast, bumpy, and jump-filled Orchard County tarmac, Dunlop’s presence lays down a massive gauntlet to the rest of the grid.
⚔️ An Unmissable Heavyweight Collision
Dunlop’s inclusion transforms what was already a fiercely competitive entry list into a total battle royale. He lines up alongside a star-studded grid featuring Mike Browne and Michael ‘Micko’ Sweeney, setting the stage for a spectacular showdown. Dunlop and Sweeney famously went bar-to-bar at the circuit last year, and with Browne also in blistering form, fans are guaranteed high-octane drama across the Superbike and Supersport encounters.
