The Tandragee 100 event provides a unique sporting event for a large number of competitors. Tandragee is the longest of the National Road Races that offers the full range of championship classes and it offers both technical stretches, which offers them a real challenge, and the opportunity to set up their bikes for forthcomingInternational Events, including the IOM TT (riders call us the Mini TT). There has been a long tradition of Road Racing on public roads in NI/RoI, and it continues to be popular with competitors and spectators alike. The immersive event makes memories and offers a glut of ‘Kodak moments’ with wonderful opportunities to mingle with the heroes of the motorcycling world up close and personal, to hear and smell the bikes, and spectate close enough to ‘feel’ the speed! Visitors can move to different locations around the course either on the outside or uniquely (no other national event can) via roads on the inside of the course. It is the only event on the annual racing calendar that is south of the M1 corridor, thus possessing the uniquely positive capacity to attract visitors from the RoI and holds tangible benefits for marketing NI as a Tourism destination.
